The Educational Employees Life Insurance Trust has contracted with a national life insurance company to provide Group Term Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment for school employees. Educational Employees Life Insurance Trust provides: Paid up life benefits for members who have been covered for at least five consecutive years Monies not utilized to pay claims will enter an account which will be utilized to purchase paid up life benefits for retired participants of EELIT Term group life and AD & D insurance to member groups at very competitive rates Paid up life benefits for retiring employees of member districts for those who have covered for at least five years. Revenues not used to pay if available, will be used to fund paid up benefits for eligible retirees Service to members by educators for educators Insurance benefits underwritten by The Prudential Insurance Company of America
